2026
F450
Murphy, NC
Built for the demands of Cherokee County EMS, this custom 12-foot Frazer Type I pairs a 2026 Ford F-450 gas 4x4 regular cab with LiquidSpring suspension and an Onan 5.5kW generator for a capable, dependable frontline platform. Cherokee County selected a distinctive Cobalt Blue patient compartment with stainless-steel countertops, yellow grab rails and an Onyx floor, along with a layout focused on crew accessibility and organized patient care. Interior selections include a 15-quart Engel refrigerator, electric oxygen controls, a dedicated CPR seat and two squad-bench seating positions with 6-point harnesses, a captain’s chair with integrated child safety seat, custom storage, and integration for their Stryker Power-LOAD system.
On the exterior, Cherokee County chose Frazer Tier 2 graphics, rear-door chevrons and a comprehensive Whelen and FireTech lighting package, including a high-output FireTech Mini-Brow front scene light, Guardian side scene lights and Guardian Jr. rear scene lighting. Additional touches include a wraparound grille guard, aluminum wheels, Luverne running boards, perimeter ground lighting, exterior compartment organization and a laydown oxygen compartment. The cab rounds out the build with dual siren systems—including a Federal Signal e-Q2B-HAAS Alert, a custom six-slot console and Tremco anti-theft system. The result is a highly customized Frazer designed around visibility, storage, crew functionality and the day-to-day operational needs of Cherokee County EMS.
