Explained
A remount involves removing a Type I or Type III ambulance module from a worn-out or damaged chassis and mounting it onto a new, more reliable chassis. This process allows you to extend the service life of your emergency vehicle while retaining its key features. Partnering with ETA for your remount restores your vehicle to optimal condition, offering significant savings compared to purchasing a new ambulance.

Yes. A remount provides an opportunity to do much more than install your existing module on a new chassis. ETA can work with your department to determine desired updates, modifications, accessories, custom fabrication, and design changes so the finished unit better supports your current operational needs. ETA's broader services include vehicle accessories, custom fabrication, and design.
An ambulance remount allows your department to extend the life of an existing ambulance module by removing it from its current chassis, refurbishing and updating it, and installing it onto a new chassis. Rather than replacing an entire ambulance, ETA helps departments preserve their investment while updating the vehicle for continued service. Today's ambulance modules are commonly designed to undergo up to five (5) remounts throughout their service life.
