AVAILABLE NOW - READY TO RESPOND.
This High Ground Conversions Type II Ambulance is currently available on our lot and ready for its next department. Built with durability, safety, crew comfort, and ease of operation in mind, High Ground’s Ready to Respond platform delivers a thoughtfully designed Type II solution without the traditional wait for a future production slot.
The unit features an independent SDG AiR MAX HVAC system with front and rear climate control, HED® touchscreen displays in the cab and patient compartment, Whelen® exterior lighting, medical-grade Kydex® antimicrobial walls, cabinets and ceiling, single-click four-point harnesses, Kussmaul™ Super Auto Eject, high idle, an aluminum bulkhead designed to maximize attendant space, and a spacious patient-compartment layout. High Ground Type II ambulances meet or exceed KKK-A-1822F and CAAS GVS requirements and have passed SAE AMD testing.
The biggest feature? It’s here. For agencies needing to add to their fleet, replace an aging unit, or avoid a lengthy production timeline, this ambulance offers an opportunity to get a new Type II into service sooner.
Available for purchase now through Emergency Transportation Associates. Contact our team for chassis specifications, pricing, additional photos, or to schedule a walkthrough.
Key Features
A Type I ambulance uses a modular patient compartment mounted on a truck-style chassis. A Type II is a van-based ambulance, such as ETA's Ford Transit 350-based High Ground Conversion. A Type III uses a modular patient compartment on a cutaway van chassis. ETA offers solutions across all three categories.
ETA brings multiple emergency vehicle solutions together under one roof. With ambulance remounts, factory-direct Frazer vehicles, High Ground Conversion Type II ambulances, QRVs, supervisor and chief vehicles, vehicle accessories, custom fabrication and design, financing, and emergency vehicle inventory, departments aren't limited to a one-size-fits-all solution. ETA combines more than 45 years of team experience with a customer-focused approach designed to help agencies find the right vehicle for their mission and budget.
The right answer depends on your module's condition, budget, desired configuration, timeline, and long-term fleet plan. For a suitable module, an ETA remount can offer approximately 30%-45% savings and a published turnaround of approximately 30-90 days. Departments needing an entirely new module or significantly different vehicle may be better served by a new ambulance. ETA can help compare the options before you make that decision.
