Emergency Transportation Associates is proud to showcase this 2026 Type I ambulance remount for University of Kentucky HealthCare, featuring a remounted ambulance module paired with a new 2026 Ford F-550 4x4 chassis. This project highlights the value of remounting, giving an existing ambulance module a renewed service life while incorporating modern upgrades designed to support crew safety, patient care, and everyday reliability.
This remount features LiquidSpring rear suspension for improved ride comfort and handling, an upgraded Whelen LED emergency lighting package, and a new Danhard HVAC system for dependable climate control. The patient compartment includes refreshed blue upholstery, new clear Lexan cabinet doors, and an EVS attendant seat with an integrated five-point child safety harness. Additional features include a Stryker Power-LOAD system transfer, Kussmaul Super Auto Eject shoreline connections, and updated exterior graphics that proudly represent University of Kentucky HealthCare.
By combining an existing ambulance module with a new chassis and carefully selected upgrades, this project demonstrates how remounting can deliver a refreshed, capable ambulance while maximizing the value of an agency's existing equipment. ETA is grateful for the opportunity to partner with University of Kentucky HealthCare and support the dedicated medical professionals who provide critical care to the communities they serve.

ETA's remount capabilities are not limited to Frazer units; its inventory and project portfolio show remounts across different ambulance configurations. Whether a particular module can be remounted depends on its construction, condition, chassis compatibility, and specifications, so ETA should evaluate the individual unit before confirming a project.
ETA brings multiple emergency vehicle solutions together under one roof. With ambulance remounts, factory-direct Frazer vehicles, High Ground Conversion Type II ambulances, QRVs, supervisor and chief vehicles, vehicle accessories, custom fabrication and design, financing, and emergency vehicle inventory, departments aren't limited to a one-size-fits-all solution. ETA combines more than 45 years of team experience with a customer-focused approach designed to help agencies find the right vehicle for their mission and budget.
The right answer depends on your module's condition, budget, desired configuration, timeline, and long-term fleet plan. For a suitable module, an ETA remount can offer approximately 30%-45% savings and a published turnaround of approximately 30-90 days. Departments needing an entirely new module or significantly different vehicle may be better served by a new ambulance. ETA can help compare the options before you make that decision.
