Ram
Winchester, KY
Built for Winchester Fire/EMS, this order features three custom Frazer Type I ambulances, each pairing a 14-foot door-forward module with a RAM 5500 diesel 4x4 regular cab chassis and LiquidSpring suspension. The exterior features a distinctive two-tone Flame Red and gray finish with Frazer Tier 2 graphics, complemented by a comprehensive Whelen warning package and Spectra scene lighting. A wraparound grille guard, LED GoLight, aluminum wheels, Luverne running boards and an anti-corrosion/weatherproof package further equip these units for demanding frontline service.
Winchester selected an Onan 5.5kW generator, Dometic self-contained A/C, a 76-inch stand-up oxygen compartment with an electric O₂ cylinder lift, Dri-Deck compartment flooring and additional adjustable storage to support everyday operations. Inside, the Desert Rose Red patient compartment is paired with stainless-steel countertops, yellow grab rails and Loncoin II Onyx flooring. The patient-care area also incorporates a stacked cabinet designed for a MedVault, USB/USB-C charging, multiple oxygen locations, new 6-point restraints at the CPR and squad-bench positions, and a captain's chair with an integrated child-safety seat. Each unit is also configured with a Gen 2 Stryker Power-LOAD floor track.
The cab rounds out the design with a Whelen C9 siren, HAAS Alert, custom six-slot console and Tremco anti-theft system, creating a thoughtfully equipped Frazer fleet centered around crew functionality, equipment accessibility, patient care and visibility.
